A: After surgery you may return to your normal activities. You may bend, stoop over, go up and down stairs, watch TV, read or work in the garden as usual. You may take showers and shampoo your hair. However, the most important instruction to remember is DO NOT RUB YOUR EYE for at least one week after surgery, and do not go swimming for two weeks after surgery.
