Eastern Long Island Hospital announces the appointment of Urologic Oncologist, Massimiliano Spaliviero, MD, to the medical staff. Clinical Assistant Professor of Urology at Stony Brook Medicine, Dr. Spaliviero is now seeing patients at Eastern Long Island Hospital.
At ELIH, Dr. Spaliviero specializes in the treatment of adults with a wide spectrum of urologic problems, including cancers of the bladder, kidney, prostate and testis; benign prostatic hyperplasia; hydronephrosis, kidney stones; and other genitourinary system disorders. By utilizing both open and minimally invasive approaches (endourologic, laparoscopic and robotic-assisted) for surgical procedures, Dr. Spaliviero is providing advanced urological care on the East End of Long Island.

Dr. Spaliviero received a Doctor of Medicine from the Universita’ di Milano in Milano, Italy. He completed a residency in Urology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and a Urologic Oncology Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
