The Anthony Bennardo Memorial Scholarship for High School Seniors

Attending Medical Staff, Eastern Long Island Hospital

 

Established in 2011 to honor the memory of esteemed physician and member of the ELIH Medical Staff, this scholarship  is intended to encourage a North Fork student as he/she makes a commitment to earning a medical degree  and serving community. Scholarship is a continuing scholarship ($1000 1st year and $ 500 each additional year for 3 years).

The Scholarship is funded and administered by Eastern Long Island Hospital Medical Staff.

Are you planning to study Medicine? Are you a high school senior attending—Greenport, Shelter Island, Southold, or Mattituck-Cutchogue High School?

 

To qualify—

  1. Be a graduating senior. (HS transcript required)

  2. Be a graduating senior from Greenport High School, Shelter Island High School, Southold High School, or Mattituck High School. (HS transcript required)

  3. Be a graduating senior in the top 25% of their class.

  4. Plan to pursue a full-time course of study of medicine.

  5. Acceptance to accredited college or university.

The selection of the recipients will be made by the Eastern Long Island Hospital Medical Staff. 

 
DEADLINE:  April 30th, 2018

 

Applications accepted December thru April annually
